UPDATE FROM CAPE TOWN!

uitserveren_soep.jpgToday is the municipality of Swartland on our programme. To get here we were escorted by police to a school, this had a lot of attention among the kids who were very excited about all of it.

We have visited the STARS IN THE EYES project. Here 300 children from the townships are taken care of. Education, sports and entertainment activities are organised to prevent that the children join criminal activities. Sports is very important for the children, it keeps them of the streets. They are being trained by professionals and they occasionally scout and discover new talent. To entertain the children we made them soup and hamburgers.
