Ciel Bleu meets...

For a change, Onno Kokmeijer thought it would be nice to give a fellow-chef the opportunity to introduce himself via his weblog. Of course I cannot refuse that offer! The reason Onno thought of me is because I will be visiting Amsterdam soon. On the 11th of April 2010, Nils Henkel of Restaurant Lerbach*** in Bergisch Gladbach and I are invited to Ciel Bleu, to prepare a déjeuner dînatoire together with Onno Kokmeijer. There are just a few more couverts available for this special event. So, in case you wish to enjoy my dishes close to home, I recommend you make a booking right now!

joachim wisslerMy name is Joachim Wissler, a 3-starred chef from Germany. This will be the first time for me to work together with Onno in Ciel Bleu, but I am convinced that the cooperation will be successful. Together with Nils Henkel, we have composed a special six-course menu that represents the three different restaurants. For Nils Henkel, as well as for me, this is the perfect opportunity to present ourselves and the Althoff Collection and of course to meet you. I am really looking forward to this cooperation; I am sure it will be a great experience for all of us, and hopefully the high class German cuisine will become more popular in the Netherlands!
