Finally, on the 30th of August the Alliance Summer Tasting takes place in Amsterdam. During this day 35 top chefs from the Netherlands and Belgium will be preparing delicious summer dishes accompanied by the best wines. Since we are only member of the Alliance Gastronomique since last January this will be the first time for us. The purpose of this Summer Tasting event is particularly to introduce a young, casual audience to the restaurants which are member of Alliance Gastronomique.

The 35 top chefs all prepare something else. I’m preparing a delicious oyster cabanon accompanied by eucalypt. My fellow colleagues from the South will be working with meat, so there is something for everyone’s taste.

Since the Netherlands are becoming more culinary aware over the last years the interaction with the guest is getting more intense. You do not often get the opportunity to discus your recipes with top chefs. There is an informal cozy, summer atmosphere. The Summer Tasting is for everyone who has a passion for food.

There are a limited number of entrance tickets available for this culinary event. These tickets are still for sale at one of our restaurants Ciel Bleu or Yamazato. We are looking forward to the Summer Tasting and hope to see you on StrandZuid in Amsterdam. See you!
