As promised I’m getting back to you to share our experiences about yesterday, it was a very successful event. After two presentations we started working in the restaurant of chef Juergens. Pasquinel, our Service Manager, helped out in the service and explained the accompanying wines in German!
The guests were very impressed. Many of them were not familiar with the traditional Japanese cuisine yet, only the famous sushi and sashimi sounded familiar. The introduction to our Yamazato restaurant by Mr. Oshima himself was therefore a great success. The wines of the evening were all selected by Mr. Vanwittenbergh, our sommelier, and they complemented the dishes perfectly. But also the dishes of chef Juergens were impressive and interesting. All chefs studied and watched each other carefully during the evening. I personally am a fan of his style.
 
The night ended with a meet and greet in the restaurant, and afterwards we went to the bar with chef Juergens to celebrate the successful cooperation. Although time flied and it was late really soon, we got up early this morning for a sportive run with the entire Ciel Bleu team in the beautiful surroundings. It is very peaceful between these beautiful mountains, overlooking the lake. Our conclusion is that you can find a very unique entourage here, which we would like to recommend our guests to experience themselves if they have the chance. Tomorrow we are travelling back to Amsterdam, as of tomorrow I’m looking forward to meeting you again in Ciel Bleu!
