We had to get up quite early in the morning since we had to drive 280 km that day. This summer namely, the Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg again organized the "Althoffs Festival of the Master Chefs". The Althoff Hotel Collection itself has been awarded with a total of eleven Michelin-Stars - one of Europe´s only hotel group with this unique distinction. Every year they honour their guests with the opportunity to meet these award-winning chefs, as they gather together for our festival.

At this "Walking Lunch", which utilizes the beautiful salons and rooms of Grandhotel Schloss Bensberg, the guests are able to observe the skills of the master chefs as they prepare various courses. A few other chefs from Europe have also been invited and I am happy to say that both the Yamazato and Ciel Bleu team were invited for this very special occasion.

Both teams have presented the most exclusive delicacies and fortunate the German guests (around 600) were impressed by our performance. A lovely event at a lovely country estate. I hope we will soon welcome the guests we have met in the Ciel Bleu as well.
