Keep Up With the Latest Developments at Ciel Bleu on www.cielbleu.nl
Amsterdam, 18 September 2007 – The French Ciel Bleu Restaurant on Hotel Okura Amsterdam’s 23rd floor will be launching its own website today: www.cielbleu.nl. In addition, the innovative Onno Kokmeijer will be one of the first star chefs in the Netherlands to start his own weblog. This weblog can be found on the restaurant’s website.
The constant search for the finest ingredients and the latest methods of preparation is described on the weblog. The run-up to culinary events will also be detailed on line, as well as the various other developments and activities occupying the team. Sommelier Noël Vanwittenbergh and host Pasquinel Kolk will also be contributing to this culinary weblog.
The design of the website matches the restaurant’s ambience. Visitors will not only be able to see the menu there, but will also get to know the Chef, Host and Sommelier a little better. All of them are eager to give you a peek behind the scenes. Soon it will also be possible to reserve a table on line at www.cielbleu.nl. Because the website is also available in English, the culinary developments at Ciel Bleu will also be accessible to people who do not speak Dutch.
About the Ciel Bleu Restaurant
The Michelin Star-awarded Ciel Bleu Restaurant is known for its idiosyncratic approach to classical French cuisine. The restaurant was recently reopened after large-scale renovations. The hotel’s traditional Japanese restaurant, Yamazato, is also the holder of a Michelin Star. This makes Hotel Okura Amsterdam the only hotel in Europe to have been awarded Michelin Stars for two very different kitchens. In addition, the brigade of Le Camelia Brasserie was awarded a Bib Gourmand.
